by Trecia Linzi
Is your favorite wedding color choice a hot trend color for 2009? What wedding colors really are hot for 2009? In 2007, and 2008 soft pastels were the trend, but they were so popular, they may also lead the way for 2009 wedding trend colors.
Most likely, you will see bold, bright colors enter the 2009 wedding scene as well. The fashion experts all agree that bright bold colors, and even exotic combinations are the new trend. Now of course you don't want go overboard for your wedding, but you may want to add at least a splash of bright and bold to your wedding color scheme.
Now, you may be wondering just how to add these bright bold colors to create a beautiful color scheme, and not go overboard with it? Well as long as you keep most of the primary areas traditional such as the bridal gown, you'll be coordinated just fine. You will want to keep the bridesmaid dresses and groomsmen attire color-coorinated as well. but you can certainly add splaches of bright to exotic color with the flower arrangements, table decor, and even the trim on the wedding cake.
Colors that are popular for 2009 are tropical colors such as bright yellows and turquoise. If you used those colors with a tropical wedding theme, what an awesome sight that would be! You could also have wedding favor boxes decorated with blue and yellow ribbon along with color coordinated place settings.
Orange color schemes will also most likely be making their way back into popularity. Think how pretty this color scheme would be: use oranges, coordinated with peach tones and then use an occasional splash of very bright orange. You could also include Tiger Liliies in your bridal bouquets.
While pinks are always in style, 2009 is about new beginnings, and 2009 wedding colors are about making a statement of these new beginnings, so in the case of pinks being the color of choice, you will see strong pink shades as opposed to the paler shades.
As with any of the other bright colors, this will go over quite well as you follow the same technique that was mentioned previously, keeping the bridal attire traditional for the most part, then adding your splash of bright colors with the wedding decor.
